The meeting of the Superiors and Ministers was held on June 17–18, 2025, at Dasya, Goa, India
The ordination ceremony was attended by many Redemptorists, Priests of the Diocese of Mangalore and Priests from other Religious Congregations. In addition, a large number of Sisters from various Congregations and lay faithful were also present.
We thank God for choosing Fr. Nishith to serve as His priest. We pray that he may be a faithful and joyful Missionary of Hope, walking in the footsteps of the Redeemer. May his priestly ministry be filled with grace, good health and abundant blessings.
The priestly ordination of Dn. Nishith was held on May 2, 2025. Our seminarians were present for the celebration and contributed meaningfully by assisting with the liturgy and supporting the various preparations for the event

Four of our Pastoral Fathers (Frs Thomas Kizhakepallyvathukal, Sebastian Kallarackal, Vivek Colaco & Jackson Souz) were officially Commissioned on 27 April 2025, during the Sunday morning Eucharist at OLPS Church, Chembur, Mumbai. The Priests of the Chembur Community concelebrated the Mass and the faithful united in prayer for our newly Commissioned Confreres.
During the Assembly of the Vice Province of Majella, which was held at Pilar, Goa, we also celebrated the Silver Jubilee (1999 - 2024) of our Unit on 15th of December 2024. (We had become the Region of Mumbai on 14th April 1999)
The Assembly of the Vice Province of Majella was held at PIlar, Goa from 11 - 15, 2024. During this Assembly the Revised Statutes of the Vice Province of Majella (3803) were passed.
69 confreres of Bangalore, Liguori and Majella units participated in the Workshop and Annual Retreat at Pilar, Goa, conducted by Fr Seamus Enright CSsR (Ireland) from 15 - 22 July, 2024.
On 9th of June 2024, the Pastoral Year was inaugurated at St Gerards Bangalore with the Eucharistic celebration. This year we have Frs. Nidhin of Bangalore Province, Sebastian, Thomas, Vivek & Jackson of Majella V. Province and Tharindu of Colombo Region - for the year for Initiation into Ministry. They will be under the care of Frs. George Puthenpura, Juvy Andrade and Louis Christopher.
The four Finally Professed Seminarians along with the confreres on the 8th of June 2024 at Mt St Alphonsus Chapel.
Ruban Nishith Lobo along with 3 other seminarians of Bangalore Province (Camil, Charles and Prasantha) made his Final Profession at Mt St Alphonsus Chapel on 8th June 2024. Fr Edward was the main celebrant and Fr Henry preached the homily. Many confreres concelebrated the Eucharist. The family members of the Final Professed Students were also present for the ceremony.
On 31st of May 2024, three of our novices Sumit, Michael and Denny made their First Profession along with Aalai, Sumanth and Prasanth of the Bangalore Province. We are grateful to Fr George Mathew (Novice Master) and the community at Kunnambetta, Kerala.
On the 2nd day of the Formees Gathering the participants went one evening out for Dinner.
The Formees Gathering was held from 28 - 30 May 2024 at Varca, Goa. 17 Students participated in the gathering. Fr Shane organized the Gathering in collaboration with the Formation Secretariat. Frs Eugene & Rithesh and Varca Community helped in arranging all things for the gathering. Deacon Ivan was the Resource Person.

Bishop Barthol Barretto(Nashik Diocese) ordained Jackson Souz on 27th of April 2024 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Uttan Pali. Many Redemptorists and other clergy, Religious and laity attended the ceremony.

On January 4, 2024, a significant academic collaboration unfolded between the Redemptorists and the Dominicans in India. The Gyanadhara College of Philosophy in Goa, under Dominicans, affiliated with Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram (DVK). Ten Redemptorist students from the units of Bangalore and Majella were among the first beneficiaries. The evening began with Eucharistic celebration presided over by Fr. On 3rd of November, at the end of the annual retreat at PIlar, Goa, we had the celebration of the Golden Jubilee of Profession of Fr Vivian Moniz CSsR
The first annual retreat was held at PIlar, Goa. It was preached by Fr Joe Tauro OCD, attended by 41 confreres of Majella and Bangalore Provinces.

On the 31st of May 2023, three of our novices made their First Profession at our common novitiate in Kotagiri, Tamil Nadu, India. We are grateful to God for the gift of these three confreres to our congregation and the vice province.
In the Vice Province of Majella, we had our annual Formees Gathering from 27 – 29 May 2023 at Dasya, Porvorim, Goa, India. It was organized by the RYVM of the Majella Unit in association with the Secretariat of Formation of the Vice Province. The three newly ordained priests and twelve students studying at various stages of formation took part in the 3-days event.
The 4th Vice Provincial chapter of the Vice Province of Majella, Mumbai, was held from the 10th to the 17th of December at Dasya, Porvorim, Goa in India.
