Mt St Alphonsus (popularly known as MSA) is a joint Theologate of the three Provinces, governed by a MOU. The seminarians from our unit, after completing their year of Regency, enter MSA and pursue their Theological Studies.
Here the seminarians do their Theology studies for 3 years and then they pursue pastoral courses for about 6 months. After their Diaconate they leave MSA and do their ministry in parishes until they are ordained Priests.
On 9th January 2023, the Dicastery for culture and education has erected it as an Ecclesiastical Higher Education Institution with “Canonical Public Juridical Personality.
